During those trainings the interns will model what it looks like to engage a global city with the Gospel. During the weeks in between trainings, interns will put what they learned into practice. Interns will pray walk in various neighborhoods in Germany and seek to meet people with the purpose of sharing the Good News of the Gospel.

Cultural
Western Europe is a constantly changing landscape. In one gateway city, you can truly encounter cultures from all over the world. Although you will be living in a Western European city, the hope will be to engage people who come from Muslim backgrounds. In a Muslim culture, modest dress is important. Girls: wear skirts or pants below the knees and tops that do not reveal midriff or skin on the chest. Sleeves should be to/near the elbow. Guy: pants are the normal, even in summer (although we are beginning to see a few more shorts than in years past), collared shirts or plain nicer shirts. You will be walking more than you are used to. Bring comfortable, supportive shoes to walk around in. Your feet and your knees will thank you later.
Goal
Your goal will be to share the Gospel with as many people as possible and to connect anyone who may be interested in following or knowing more about Christ to the local team. That is job #1! You will also have a leadership component of the trip. You will play multiple roles; tour guide/teacher/mentor. This is trip that will stretch and grow you in a number of ways.
