Your oldest child will be the first child when calculating discounts. Three Year Old and Pre-K classes require all students to be fully potty trained. Your child will need to bring a sack lunch each day. All classes will follow Springfield Public School's calendar during the school year. Child’s age on August 1st determines class placement.

The following trainings and services are provided for staff and personnel working with our Second Baptist Child Development Center. The Unified Security Platform services from Genetec provided by NetWatch, Minor Safety Training for Sexual Abuse Prevention, Institute for Childhood preparedness Threat Detection and Response, First Aide/CPR, Armed Protection Training from Strategos provided by PeaceKeepers.
Summer Learning at SBCDC
Summer June Session
Join us for the June session of summer school from June 3rd - June 26th. We enroll ages 3 month through completion of Kindergarten. Students can chose a schedule of Tuesday/Thursday or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Summer July Session
Join us for the July session of summer school from July 8th - July 31st. We enroll ages 3 month through completion of Kindergarten. Students can chose a schedule of Tuesday/Thursday or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

$75 non refundable enrollment fee (applies to the 2025 - 2026 school year if enrolling for Summer and Fall sessions)

KINDERGARTEN LEAD TEACHER
Hi! I'm Eden Cruz and I'm SO EXCITED for this school year! I have an Elementary Education degree from Evangel University, along with a music minor and concentration in Bible. I took a break from working within my K-6 certification to join the Early Childhood world for the last 10 years while I raised my own 3 little ones. But now that they're all off to elementary school, I'm so excited to be with Kindergarteners this year at Second! I love creating a structured atmosphere where children can be creative, grow socially, and gather the tools they need to be lifelong learners.

KINDERGARTEN ASST. TEACHER
I am a junior at Missouri State University studying to be a Speech Language Pathologist with a minor in American Sign Language. After completing my masters degree I hope to work in a clinical setting.
I am apart of The Vine college ministry with Second Baptist. I was in choir for 6 years and am now apart of the worship team with The Vine!
This is my second year as the Assistant in Kindergarten and I am so excited to spend time in with the kiddos this year!
