DR. JOHN MARSHALL
John Marshall was born December 22, 1951, in Sikeston, Missouri, a sixth generation preacher. At age 23 he became the youngest person ever to earn a Doctor of Ministry degree from a Southern Baptist seminary. John and Ruth have two married children and four grandchildren. Dr. And Mrs. Marshall came to Springfield Second in 1995. In 1997 a missions revival began. It continues to be the main emphasis of the church.
